About Us:
Current Enrollment: 180 students
Early Childhood Academic Center:  Three and four year old classes, full day kindergarten
Elementary Academic Center:  First through third grade
Middle School Academic Center:  Fourth through eighth grade

Tuition
The following tuition schedule lists the fees charged for the 2008-2009 academic year. 

Preschool/Prekindergarten Half-Day $10,900
Prekindergarten Full-Day $15,400
Kindergarten $19,200
1st Through 4th Grade $20,500
5th Through 8th Grade $21,300


Upon acceptance to Chatham Day School, a nonrefundable deposit of $1,750 for grades kindergarten through eight, and $1,000 for preschool and prekindergarten and a signed contract are required to hold a child’s class placement.  Tuition is traditionally billed in three installments:  June, August, and January.  A monthly payment schedule can be arranged with the business office.

Fees
Additional fees are charged for items such as class trips, book fees, technology fees, wrap-around before and after-care, after school enrichment participation, PA dues, and classroom fees.

Lunch Program
Students bring their lunches from home or they can be purchased through our hot lunch vendor, Elegant Taste of Chatham. Please note that for the safety of all of our students, peanut and nut products are not permitted in The Stephen and Miray Tse Academic Building or Estate House. Nut products are permitted in the Dining Hall only at designated tables.

Transportation
Chatham Day School serves families residing in far-reaching communities, and many families share the commuting responsibilities through car-pooling. In addition, bus service is available for interested families, provided a reasonable route can be created. Families using this service are responsible for all of the costs of bus transportation.

Dress Code
Students should be neat, clean and “ready to learn.” Boys are required to wear collared shirts, which include polo shirts and turtlenecks. Shirts with tails are to be tucked into pants. Girls are to wear collared shirts, which include polo shirts, turtlenecks, and stitched, rolled collars. Jeans, T-shirts and sweat clothes are not permitted except on special days that are pre-announced by the Head of School. Rubber soled shoes are required for physical education class.

For convenience and personal choice, many families choose to order logo embroidered clothing from Lands' End.

Program Hours
The school day is from 8:20 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. 
Before-Care:  7:45-8:15 a.m.  
After-Care:   3:30-6:00 p.m.

After School Enrichment Classes:  3:30-4:30 p.m.
