YOUR HELP MATTERS! We hope that families will be involved and support the community in a variety of ways. However, because it is so significant, we encourage everyone to make Annual Fund giving their first priority. Every fall we ask for a gift or a pledge payable by June 30. Financial support early in the school year provides actual budget dollars instead of budget projections, and allows us to remain flexible in meeting current needs. Many families find it easier to make a gift on a recurring basis, allowing payments on a credit card over a specified number of months instead of in one lump sum. Pledges and recurring gifts prior to January 1 also boost participation rates, which serves as an impetus for others and as an indicator of community commitment and strength to external donors.

Participation is critical to the success of the Annual Fund. Every gift of every size makes a difference. We ask all those within our community - current parents, trustees, faculty and staff, grandparents and friends - to participate in the Annual Fund. Please give at the level that is comfortable for your family, remembering that gifts of any size are greatly appreciated. Trustees, faculty, and staff have led the way with 100% participation for the past eight years. Please join them in demonstrating your support for the mission and the programs of Chatham Day School.

The Annual Fund campaign runs throughout the school’s fiscal year, from July 1 through June 30. Chatham Day School is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. All gifts to Chatham Day School are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

Leadership gifts are the foundation of the Chatham Day School Annual Fund. We hope you will consider participating at this level. Donors at this level will become part of The Leadership Circle, and they will be honored at a special reception in the spring.
