Application Process

Once you have decided to apply, you may use the steps outlined below to help ease you through the application process.  Applications received by January 31st will be given first consideration.  Applications received after January 31st will be considered on a rolling basis, as openings are anticipated.  Students are frequently enrolled mid-year when spaces are available.

STEP 1:

Schedule a tour with an admission director.  If you are applying from overseas or from another state, please contact the Office of Admission directly either via phone (973)410-0400 x15 or email, to discuss how best to proceed.

Step 2:

Fill out our online application here.  This online application is easy to use and is designed to offer our prospective families the most convenient method to submit the application.  Should you have any questions about this process, please contact the Office of Admission at 973-410-0400, ext. 15, or TADS customer service at 1-800-477-8237 or info@tads.com.

There is a $75, non-refundable, application fee payable through the TADS application.

Step 3:

Please print out the Teacher Recommendation Form page 1 and page 2 and Transcript Release form and submit them to your child’s current school.  (Forms are not required for students entering their first year of school.)

Step 4:

Once the Office of Admission receives the application, an Admission Director will call to schedule a visit.  Students applying for preschool and prekindergarten will come for a one hour play date, and parents are welcome to stay on campus with their child during this visit.  Students applying for kindergarten will join a current prekindergarten class for the morning session, and students applying for grades 1 through 7 will spend a full day at the school.

Middle School applicants (those students who are applying to grade 5-8) should print and complete the Student Questionnaire.
