Tuition

Upon acceptance to Chatham Day School, a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is required for grades kindergarten through grade eight along with a signed contract.  For grades preschool and prekindergarten the deposit is $1,000.  Tuition is traditionally billed in either two or three installments with the first payment due on June 1^st.

 A monthly payment schedule, beginning in June may also be arranged with the Business Office.  Additional school fees are listed below.

Tuition and Fees for the 2011-2012 academic year:

 Note:    1) A classroom activities fee will range from $120 - $200 per student.

              2) Additional fees are charged for field trips and optional lunch service.

             3) Before-Care, After-Care, and After-School Enrichment Classes are billed at $14.00 per hour.

Financial Aid

Socioeconomic diversity is a priority of Chatham Day School.  All financial aid awards are based on demonstrated financial need, and families are encouraged to apply for assistance if the tuition cost is prohibited.  Limited funds are available, and are allotted first to returning families and new families applying by the January 31^st deadline.  Families seeking admission later in the school year should contact the Office of Admission to inquire if additional funds are available.  All information regarding financial aid inquiries and awards is held in strict confidence. 

To apply for aid for the 2012-2013 academic year, you will need to complete a TADS Financial Aid Application. You may choose to first complete a TADS Financial Aid Worksheet, which is designed to aid you in the TADS Application.  This worksheet will not be accepted by TADS as an application.
